The Sheffield Cancer Bioinformatics Group is a cancer biology research team working at the interface of computation and translational oncology. We use advanced computational approaches to analyse large-scale cancer omics datasets, uncovering biological mechanisms, identifying biomarkers, and revealing actionable targets for new therapies.
Embedded within both academic and clinical research environments, we collaborate widely to translate discoveries into impact. We develop and share bioinformatic tools, datasets, and analytical workflows, and are committed to open science to accelerate progress across cancer research.
